Digital TV repeater is a relay amplification equipment, signal will be enhanced through digital TV signal transmission process. It widen existing digital TV network coverage range, resolve blind spots, which would be the most cost-effective solution for watching TV in remote areas.

Classification and Features:

As different transmission way, Digital TV repeater has four styles as follows, frequency repeater, shift frequency repeater, optical repeater and microwave (MUDS, MMDS) Repeater.

1. Frequency Repeater：
Acceptance/transmission frequency is same as digital TV program launch station; being apply to the statement that isolation of signal receive/transmit is easy to achieve
2. Shift Frequency Repeater：
Acceptance/transmission frequency is same/different as main program transmission frequency; being apply to the statement that isolation of signal receive/transmit is difficult to achieve
3. Optical Repeater：
possess conditions that fiber input/output is fit to build; being apply to areas where wireless digital signal is difficult to cover.
4. Microwave (MUDS, MMDS) Repeater：
microwave transmit digital program signal; being apply to special area or users groups that hard to set up fiber and cable.

Application Scope:

● Coverage of suburbs, rural areas, traffic , tunnel coverage;
● Coverage of shadow areas (such as mountainous, sections in cities)
● Affected by landform, remote mountain and town of blind signal, it need to launch for the second time.
● Coverage area is far away from the base stations, the place of buildings and so on can not get base station wireless coverage signal (airports, subways, elevators and high building).
● Wireless environment coverage target area is very bad, difficult to work, as well as easily lead to pilot pollution of regions.
